I was able to express my faith to a lot of different people, most of whom I didn’t know well. This is really one of the first times I have done this and it was a great opportunity to do so. Being in a Christian environment for 9 weeks was good and provided me with many opportunities to grow in my faith. Morning devotions were very challenging to my personal walk with God. I grew in understanding, patience, and ability. I know there were a lot of seeds planted this summer. I have been impressed by how the directors run the camp, and how devoted they are to this ministry God has given them. I am thankful that they are the people that God chose to place in authority here and that He has given them to me as friends too. I felt really good on the last day of camp when a camper wrote me a thank-you letter thanking me for all the activities we did. The highlight is the perfect combination of studying the Bible and physical activities. I changed my views on life. Now I’m more independent and I can say that I trust my way. I felt great any time a parent told me how much they appreciated the work that I do. It helps set a way of life, a good strong foundation. It has been a summer of many new and exciting experiences .This was a great summer! I loved the staff! They all worked so hard, and got along so well…like one big, happy family! I loved everyone! I’m so glad that I decided to work here this summer! I feel that I have become a better person and a stronger Christian this summer, just from working here.
